What’s your philosophy when it comes to quality child care? As an educator I believe that all children deserve to feel safe, secure and supported at preschool. They should be nurtured and cared for with respect, love and understanding. I strive to make all children feel a sense of belonging at Little Dreamers and believe building strong partnerships with families is key.

I believe learning through play is essential for a child’s development and they should be able to explore in a safe environment that offers risks and challenges. I will always aim to include individual children’s interests, ideas and needs in the program and support them in achieving their fullest potential. I recognise that all children are capable learners. However, all children learn and develop differently and I will continue to appreciate the uniqueness and differences of each child.

I am passionate about embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture within our centre and Acknowledge the Worimi People. I always try to be mindful of my impact on nature and the environment and hope I can pass this on to the children.
